Extreme Encounter Adventure - Private Group

This is basically the all in one trip. We have more time which means we can cover more terrain. You will get the most qualified guide which means you will be able to access the best or less accessible areas of the glacier. We can adapt the trip to your ability.

The meeting point is the parking lot, this will be sent to you by email. There we have a talk about your trip expectations and abilities. We will make sure that you have all the necessary gear according to the day's conditions. We provide the technical gear like ice climbing boots and crampons, helmets, harnesses and ice climbing axes. Of course we won't forget the rope!

The walk starts at the carpark. It is a 20 minutes approach approximately until before the ice. There we will put the crampons on and after a short briefing we will start walking on the glacier.

Glaciers are in constant change as they move and melt at the same time. No trip is the same as other. Once we get to the difficult terrain we will teach yo the nuts and bolts of ice climbing. You will be the star climbing up ice walls, traversing ice ridges and negotiating exposed difficult terrain. If we are lucky we will find beautiful ice features to enjoy.

After you had the best trip we will return to the carpark where we will say goodbye.

In total it is a walk that can vary from 4 to 7 km depending on the group and glacier conditions. The more we use the rope to travel through difficult terrain, the less terrain we are going to cover in total, but it is more fun! It takes about 5 hours, of which 3.5 to 4 hours will be on the glacier.
